Chocolate factory experience by the Thames this Easter

For all chocolate lovers, there’s a tasty event coming to the banks of the River Thames this Easter. The interactive Charlie and the Chocolate Factory experience is available at The London Eye.

The event is a collaboration between The London Eye and the West End production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and offers a fantasy adventure for everyone who loves the Roald Dahl classic.

A world of chocolate

Visitors will be able to take part in Easter-themed art and craft workshops and listen to story-telling actors. They can also enjoy delicious treats as they help Willy Wonka concoct his newest invention, which takes inspiration from some of the popular venues in London.

The View of Pure Imagination event will take guests into the amazing world of Willy Wonka before they even step inside the London Eye capsules. The space around the landmark will become a vision of purple and gold, and will feature the famous lollipop trees.

Visitors will get an amazing view from 135 metres over the city and be able to enjoy the magic of the West End show in their own capsule.

Not just for kids

There’s also plenty for adults to enjoy, with a chocolate tasting experience just for the grown-ups. Delicious chocolates and sparkling prosecco will enhance the journey across London’s skyline. Running throughout the Easter weekend, this experience will include a brand ambassador and lasts for an hour.

Situated on the South Bank, alongside the London Eye pier, the popular tourist attraction is easy to access from a Thames boat hire company, making the day even more special and memorable.

The event will run from 25th March to 9th April, with slots available between 12pm and 5pm every day.
